God’s desire for us is that we would prosper in our relationships with our children. This happens most effectively when both child and parent are committed to following Jesus and making Him the greatest desire in their lives. Unfortunately today, a staggering percentage of young adults are abandoning the faith which they held as children as they are led astray in this culture of deception and depravity. As parents we need to do all that we can to lead our kids into a strong and lasting relationship with Jesus. As we do, we will find that our relationship with them is strong and enduring as well. Consider this phrase from a few years ago, “Everything rises and falls on the quality of our relationships.” That’s challenging! But while challenging, it is also true! And if it is true, then we need to do this relationship thing well, and that’s what our series “Relationomics: God’s Plan for Relational Prosperity” will attempt to achieve. No, “Relationomics” is not a word, but we are coining it for this series. Here’s a definition of Relationomics: it is the “study that deals with the development, understanding, and practice of healthy relationships.” Let’s believe God to help us develop, understand, and practice healthy relationships. Today, “Relational Life.” Follow Along with Message Notes -->CLICK HERE<--

What’s true physically is also true spiritually, and frankly its value is both for now and eternity! Our Values give our life direction. They are what focus our decisions and help us measure our success. Unfortunately, few people take the time to consider what their values are. They adopt cultural values that may or may not be helpful. What values does God what you to have? Does He have a specific purpose for your life? Yes, He does. Let’s discover what that is as we focus on “Values that Define Us." Follow Along with Message Notes -->CLICK HERE<--

What’s true physically is also true spiritually, and frankly its value is both for now and eternity! People believe some crazy things. And many of them are without a strong foundation. But when we strengthen the right things, say the things we believe, and have a solid foundation upon which we base those beliefs, our lives of faith will be sustained. This phrase “Burn the Ships” comes from a historic conquest of history when, in 1519, Spanish Conquistador Hernando Cortez landed in Mexico on the shores of the Yucatan, with only one objective…seize the great treasures known to be there, hoarded by the Aztecs. While I do not agree with his motivation or his conquest, the phrase “Burn the Ships” speaks to a level of commitment that can motivate us as we conclude 2019 and begin 2020.
